Special Olympics Camp 2009

I can't tell you enough how great the Special Olympics are. I spent a week at the annual sports camp on the campus of St. Ben's. I, along with good friend Andy Lucey, did the basketball training for the camp. I also spent the entire week doing all of the photography for the camp. If you have never volunteered for any of the events that the special olympics hold, you need to. You will come away from the experience with a renewed and refreshed outlook on life. The excitement, the passion, the pure enjoyment, the sportsmanship, the sincere caring for one another and the love of life cannot be compared to any other experience you can have. What a Great 90th Birthday Celebration!!

I was lucky enough to meet the Baker family and friends and photograph the 90th birthday of Wes. What a huge crowd, there were 200 people in attendance...I don't think I could find 200 people for any party of mine!! It was a great day and I enjoyed meeting all the friendly people. Thanks Wes and congratulations on such a great party!!

Xochitl Daisy Shoot

A few cabins down from Kim's cabin was a great patch of daisies that Kim had discovered so we took the opportunity to get some shots of Xochitl playing in the middle of them.
